Filoti (19 Km from Naxos Town) is nice village, settled well up on the flank of Zas mountain. There are quite a few cafes and taverns, many of them been shaded by a massive plane tree.

Sightseeing The old church of Koimisis Theotokou with an excellent marble screen. Chimarrou Tower which is one of the older monuments in the Island.
